Because he was haunted by a mysterious entity, Toundra Soupiro had to flee Unholy and go back in time, in what turned out to be the morosefolks' capital city, Calypso.

Before he left, he had began recording an album about the ghosts of Unholy. He entrusted the masters to Diane, who in turn gave them to history students Fish & Bird.

The present album is the result of those songs changing hands.

While the dismal quality of this music is unsurprising considering the crepuscular nature of Unholy, more than one ghost has pointed out that the sadness enclosed in some tracks might belong to another party, namely the entity who was haunting Toundra.

This also marks a turning point in the existence of Fire Beninois, once the moniker of Toundra Soupiro, now a collective project including Soupiro himself, Diane, Fish, and Bird.
